Green Plant Painting (For Sale)

  • Titled: "Grounded Connection"

  • Acrylic paint on 12” x 12” x 1” canvas; October 2024 ✨ WORK IN PROGRESS ✨

  • The painting depicts green leaves on branches reaching towards each other, meeting at the center of a square canvas. The two leaves that touch are not just ordinary leaves—they are women in yoga poses, artistically painted as leaves.

  • Inspired by Michelangelo's famous work, where he decided to represent the divine breath of life with God's and Adam's fingers almost touching, this piece offers a different interpretation. Instead of depicting a divine connection, it focuses on the connection between two people. The women's toes touch at the center, symbolizing grounding, unity, and the importance of human relationships.

  • "Grounded Connection" celebrates the beauty of our shared experiences and the idea that true connection lies in our relationships—embracing the natural world in the present moment, and each other rather than something beyond us.
